Hodgart to innovate Mercer’s client base
Published:  16 March, 2009

Mercer has appointed Eddie Hodgart as principal and client manager for its employee benefits business.

Hodgart was previously at KPMG, where he was a partner in their people services business. He has also worked at Sedgwick Noble Lowndes, Towers Perrin and Watson Wyatt in employee benefits and consulting roles.

Based in London, he will be responsible for managing Mercer’s client portfolio and will lead a project team focusing on innovation in the firm’s benefit programmes.

Alan Whalley, Mercer’s UK chief executive, said the appointment would help to “enhance our understanding of the issues that drive clients’ needs and to deliver innovative and tailored services”.
