RPC names Linklaters lawyer as pensions partner

London law firm Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC) has appointed Philippa Connaughton as pensions partner. She joins from Linklaters, where she has been a member of the pensions group since 1997. A regular conference speaker, Connaughton made a stand-out appearance at October’s NAPF investment conference. She will lead the non-contentious pensions practice within RPC’s 15-strong employment, pensions and incentives group.

Stewart rises to sales director at Hornbuckle Mitchell

Hornbuckle Mitchell has promoted Mary Stewart to the newly created role of director of sales and marketing. She is currently marketing director and was appointed to the board last year, having been with the firm for three years.

Managing director Dave White said Stewart’s appointment was part of ongoing organisational changes within the company. He said three further roles would be created.

Ed Evers has been appointed to Investec Asset Management’s (IAM) UK institutional sales team. He joins from Fidelity International, where he spent 15 years working in the institutional sales channel, most recently as head of Fidelity’s defined contribution (DC) sales.
